Today (19th April 2024) we have reached a significant milestone in the business. We are wishing Carlton a long and happy retirement as he hands the business over to our longstanding employee and director, Matt Wilson.

Carlton Alarms was originally founded by Carlton Littleford back in 1986 and has grown significantly over this time to offer a range of security systems including intruder alarms, fire alarms, CCTV and access control systems to domestic and commercial clients throughout Yorkshire.

Matt originally joined the firm in 1999 as an engineer and progressed to become production director. Within his role, Matt has continued to oversee much of the business on a day-to-day basis, including managing staff and having involvement in business decisions.

Carlton commented; “With my plan to retire coming to fruition, I couldn’t think of anyone more suitable to take over the business. I trust Matt with everything and couldn’t wish for anything better for the future of Carlton Alarms.”

He added; “I know that our customers are in safe hands with Matt as he knows the business inside out. Throughout his career at Carlton Alarms, he has always exceeded expectations.”

Matt commented; “Carlton has played a pivotal role within my career progression at Carlton Alarms. I couldn’t be more proud to have this opportunity to continue the business with the same values and passion as Carlton.”

He continued “I would like to wish Carlton all the best for the future and a very happy retirement.”
